What to expect:
We have a complete Pittwater kayaking tour planned for you. We will start from McCarrs Creek and paddle up to Church point, into Elvina Bay and then into Lovett Bay.
We then walk up to the Lovett bay waterfall where we have a picnic lunch. A shower under the waterfall is the best way to refresh yourself before carrying on with the rest of the tour.
After lunch, we return to the Kayaks and paddle back to McCarrs Creek.
Suitability:
This Pittwater kayaking is suitable for people 8 years and older of moderate fitness.
The Walk is approx 1km return. The Waterfall lookout is approx 100m above Sea level, so its a bit of a climb. No problem for the able-bodied, but quite steep so not suitable for those with bad knees or the unfit.
As the Kayaks are the much more comfortable sit-inside type, you will need to be less than 2M tall and able to fit in a 40cm wide seat.
No paddling experience necessary for Pittwater kayaking, full instructions will be provided.
